[Hexed to Anthony and Michael]
Alright. So, it turns out that you two are right about me after all. I'm going to Blaise's party on Saturday, even though we've all pointed out everything that's wrong with this idea, every last reason why I'm an idiot for doing this, and so on -- but I'd kind of like to stick to talking about my virtues instead of my vices, if we could. Anyway. In that vein, I am going, but I promise that I'll be exceedingly careful. Hand to Merlin, I'll make Percy look reckless. And, if I'm not home by, say, whenever Michael gets off work, it'll mean one of a few things:

1. Things are going exceedingly well, I'm having a brilliant time, and I forgot my curfew.
2. Things have gone very, very badly and I need help.
Or 3. I've gotten completely and utterly wasted and am either in a cat-fight with Rivers or sleeping it off on Blaise's sofa. (Note that this outcome is the likeliest of the three.)

And, while we're on the subject of us three, I have a few Very Brilliant Ideas. First off: we can all agree that we all want each other, right? Right. Well. I don't know what you two want, but I think I know what I want.

...I want you to seduce me. I want you both to give me some pretty words, and roses, and role-playing would be absolutely brilliant. Seduce me. Give me your absolute best shots.

Also, weekend after this one, after I've recovered from Blaise's party, we are going out. Because I said so, and, no, you can't argue with this. I have the perfect place in mind, and dress smart.

[Hexed to Everyone BUT Anthony & Michael]
Boys are stupid.

[Hexed to Blaise and Theo]
Alright, I made up my mind. I'll be there Saturday night.

If number two happens, which I'm very much hoping it won't, promise me you'll send word to us immediately.

...And I'm going to just ignore your Very Brilliant ideas for now in the hopes that you'll explain them more thoroughly at a later date.

Alright. ...How do you want me to do that?

...Why are you ignoring them? They're Very Brilliant. ...Additionally, you can't ignore the one about going out, even if I have to drag you to the Mysterious Location.

Somehow. Bring your journal and, I don't know, make an entry if you aren't in danger. If we don't hear anything, we'll rescue you.

But...I can't leave the house. And I just... I don't know how to seduce someone. I haven't a clue where to even start, Terry.

Alright. That's much better than what I thought you'd ask me to do.

Neither can I. Watch how this isn't stopping me. Also, here's a reading list: A Death in Venice, Pride and Prejudice, Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing, She Stoops to Conquer, and The Vampire Lestat. Anything you don't have, come steal from me. They're a perfect start. Oh, and Mrs. Black's romance novels are brilliant as well.

...Conjure a Patronus?

That's a lad. Honestly, Anthony, just... think of this like a game. And you win by getting in my pants. There aren't any rules, and you only lose if you give up.

Okay, good. Because I couldn't do it, anyway.

Oh, fuck. ...It's just a metaphor, Anthony. Is there any particular reason why seduction is such a bad thing?

It's not bad, I just...

Can you honestly see me seducing anyone? I can't imagine I'd be very good at it at all.

Okay, let's put it this way. In Mrs. Weasley's truly brilliant novel about Muggle noblepersons during the Restoration, Lord Anthony Darlinghaven wishes to win the heart of Lady Belinda Cunning. Unfortunately, Lady Belinda is an over-educated, demanding, tempestuous little shrew and Lord Anthony needs to show her that he can be sensitive enough to understand her troubled family, but strong enough to man up and put her in her place. Which he does in a most spectacular, hysterical, and fantastic fashion, through snark fests, romantic displays, and physical affection that, occasionally, verges on scandalous.

And let's just say that I believe that you could beat him.

You'll succeed. The only way you can't is if you give up.

And, yes. In the metaphor, I am Belinda. There's even the shared family troubles. And the need to be challenged. And the remarkable taste.

Well now, I suppose I'll have to retract my statement about you never actually being adventurous. Even if it is only just to my little party. I'll certainly keep in mind that you'll be there. I also expect a gift. Something lavish, please.

Furthermore, I feel I must point out that while boys may be stupid, many men are not. Perhaps you should try one of those out some time.

...Do I honestly need to explain the process of getting disowned, cut off, and having no money, Blaise? I mean, I know it's a rather foreign concept to you, but it's a rather substantial part of my life. Unfortunately, the most lavish gift you can get from me would be me.

Tried a few of those, too. Wasn't particularly impressed. Am still not particularly impressed.

Well now, I'm sure that would only be lavish if you dressed yourself up a bit. Lavish gifts always come in pretty wrapping, or at least in interesting wrapping. I believe there is a correlation between the uniqueness of the wrapping and the lavishness of the gift. In any case, a truly creative person would find a way around the whole money problem. Aren't you supposed to be a Ravenclaw?

Note, also, that I said many men. Not all. I suppose you just had poor taste in the majority of those you picked. No reason to stop looking.

Well, now that just raises a few questions about the parameters in which I'm to dress myself up. I was planning on doing so anyway, as it's a party and I haven't been to one of those since school -- wait, no. We had a party for Rita when she published the second volume of her epic expose on Dumbledore, and then another one when she published the companion expose on Grindelwald. It was an utterly wretched time, and she spent it trying to set me up with her regrettably female secretary. So I had incentive to dress up anyway -- but, if we're going to make a point of what I'm wearing, how lavish do you want? I mean, I obviously can't make some things happen, but I always was brilliant at Transfiguration, and I have a few fun things lying around, so share your fantastically creative input on this.

...I have this really lovely dress of my Mum's that would be suitably lavish.

I'd give you an appropriately snippy response to that, but, honestly, I'm entirely uncomfortable with going into this with you.

Oh surprise me, Terry. If it's going to be a gift for me I really shouldn't know about it ahead of time. That's the fun in gifts. Well, that and the unwrapping, of course.

... So long of course as you don't wear the same dress as my Mother. Awful faux pas, that.

And why are boys stupid, may I ask?

I fully intend to have the best time I've had in a long while, however that happens. Speaking of, who do you think would win in a fight: me, or Rivers?

And I made a rather hasty generalization. Not all boys are stupid, but... Anthony and Michael can strain credulity at times. As important to me as they are, I am really looking forward to getting to spend a night amongst other people for a change. Even though I'm rather persona non grata with most of them.

That's a hard question. I don't know, really. You'd probably be facing Gwen and Gabe once he realised you were attacking his pretty little girl. So, two people against scrawny little you... Be nice to Gwen, okay? And if you can't manage that, ignore her. You know the saying: if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Hopefully Gwen will exercise this philosophy also.

Yes, you did. I'm definitely not stupid. What have they done now?

Oh, you and your love triangles.

Well, damn. Here I was, counting on him to be averse to touching people, ergo averse to fighting with them. Either way, I'll try my best to play nicely or ignore her, but if she compromises my ability to do so, I make no promises for continued good behaviour.

Nothing entirely stupid, really -- and, actually, I do owe them quite a bit of gratitude for what they did earlier this week - it's just... completely baffling to me why they're taking me into this gigantic, emotional hurricane and I'm only just complaining now. And my complaining feels half-hearted. And I should be upset about how, one minute, they have me feeling like I've fucked everything up, continuing on with the Order is just an awful idea, and I should run home to my mother, recant from my Blood Traitor ways, and never go back -- but, then, the next minute, they have me feeling completely brilliant and we're all back to joking around and flirting like nothing ever happened. And I really want to be upset about this, to just... do something and reclaim any semblance I've ever had of emotional stability -- but, for whatever reason, this whole debacle is just... I can't leave it, and it scares me, but I kind of like it, and they're not even aware of this because of how wrapped up they are in different things, so they just think I'm being a selfish git. Which isn't entirely wrong -- it's just not right either.

Me and my love triangles? Honestly. It's not like I woke up and said to myself, "You know what? I think I'm going to make Anthony and Michael fall in love with me today! Then I'm going to flirt with Theo again, because that's always fun and it'll make Michael show off how much of a jealous prat he is. Oh, and then I should flirt with Blaise too, because I still haven't had the full experience of that, but the thought is more than intriguing enough to merit flirting with him." I am a complete tool of fate.

I had a feeling you were going to go. I respect your decision even though I still think it is dangerous.

I care about your safety and well-being, but your happiness is really important to me as well. If this makes you happy then so be it. I can't stop you.

1) Yes, we can agree on that. I would be a complete mess without you. Honestly, I love Anthony but without you I would feel..incomplete.

I don't know what I want exactly, but I just know I want the both of you in my life in some shape and form.

2) I have never seduced a male before. Always a first time for everything. I will just pretend you are a lass.

3) For once I won't argue with that. All of us could use some time out. Just the three of us.

Are you going to tell me where or is it a surprise?

You're being oddly rational today...

1. As well as oddly sentimental... You made it well enough without us after we left school, you git. Why is it always with the ridiculous, maudlin rubbish? It makes you nigh on impossible to talk to. Oi.

2. ...Should I get the dress and heels? Or can you make it without them?

3. Michael, honestly. The fun of this planned night out requires that you don't know a thing about where we're going until we get there. Think you can live that long without knowing?

2. Just checking! I want to make sure you're comfortable and all. And, if pretending that I'm the most gorgeous woman you've ever laid eyes on is what does it for you, I have no problems aiding your imagination.

3. Friday after this one. So, the fourteenth. I know you're impatient, but just trust me. This surprise will be completely and utterly worth waiting for.

...Additionally, you don't have a camera at your flat, do you?

2. I will do fine just with my imagination and you, though if you feel like dressing up I can't say that I won't stop you. You do make a hot girl.

3. We will see about that. The wait will drive me mad.

At my flat I do. In one of my sidedrawers in my bedroom. Why do you want it?
